καταγγελία και νέα επίκαιρη ερώτηση Νικητιάδη

 

Σε πολιτικό θρίλερ εξελίσσεται η υπόθεση της δικαιοσύνης στην Κω και το Βόρειο Συγκρότημα Δωδεκανήσου.

 

Μετά τη νέα επίθεση που εξαπέλυσε από το Βήμα της Βουλής ο βουλευτής του ΠΑΣΟΚ κ. Νικητιάδης  σχετικώς με τον διορισμό Ειρηνοδίκη στην Κω, ο Υπουργός Δικαιοσύνης δήλωσε χθες ψευδώς στην Βουλή ότι «… με συνεννοήσεις και με πειστικά επιχειρήματα, το Ανώτατο Δικαστικό Συμβούλιο σήμερα, μάλιστα, έβγαλε την απόφαση για νέο Ειρηνοδικείο. Γρήγορα θα φέρω το διάταγμα, για να γίνει το Ειρηνοδικείο και να διοριστεί Ειρηνοδίκης …» διαπράττοντας όπως αποδείχτηκε μέγιστο πολιτικό ατόπημα αφού ουδεμία τέτοια απόφαση είχε ληφθεί όπως αποδείχτηκε εκ των υστέρων.

 

Η ανωτέρω δήλωση έγινε κατά τη συζήτηση του νομοσχεδίου  για την  «Ευρωπαϊκή Μονάδα Δικαστικής Συνεργασίας (EUROJUST), Κοινές Ομάδες Έρευνας και λοιπές διατάξεις» όπου ο κ. Νικητιάδης επανέφερε εκ νέου το θέμα της, επί 18 και πλέον μήνες, αποχής των δικηγόρων της Κω εξαιτίας της κατάργησης δεύτερης θέσης Ειρηνοδίκη στο νησί κατακεραυνώνοντας τον Υπουργό λέγοντας: «Κύριε Υπουργέ, σήμερα συζητάμε μία πρόταση εναρμόνισης του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαίου στο Ελληνικό Δίκαιο. Και εγώ φαντάζομαι και δεν θα αμφισβητήσω τον ευρωπαϊκό σας προσανατολισμό. Όμως, για ποια ενσωμάτωση του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαίου μπορεί να μιλάμε, όταν σήμερα –και σας το έχω ξαναφέρει στη Βουλή αυτό- ο Δικηγορικός Σύλλογος Κω αποφασίζει, οι δικηγόροι αποφασίζουν και κάνουν κατάληψη του Εφετείου; Αναγκάζετε τους δικηγόρους, το σύνολο ομόφωνα, όλοι οι δικηγόροι στο βόρειο συγκρότημα Δωδεκανήσου να κάνουν κατάληψη του Εφετείου. Δηλαδή στην ουσία να παρεμποδίζουν το έργο της δικαιοσύνης;»

 

Ο κ. Νικητιάδης συνεπής και ως προς την δέσμευσή του απέναντι στον Δικηγορικό Σύλλογο της Κω, απευθυνόμενος στον κ. Χατζηγάκη από το Βήμα της Βουλής είπε: «Σας καλώ λοιπόν, κύριε Υπουργέ, για άλλη μία φορά, εναρμονίζοντας το ευρωπαϊκό δίκαιο με το ελληνικό δίκαιο, να φροντίσετε να εναρμονίσετε και τη σκέψη σας, να την κάνετε πιο ευρωπαϊκή και να καταλάβετε ότι και στο βόρειο συγκρότημα Δωδεκανήσου οι νησιώτες είναι Ευρωπαίοι πολίτες», κάλεσμα το οποίο προκάλεσε την προαναφερθείσα δήλωση του Υπουργού.

 

Ωστόσο, σε σημερινή τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία που είχε ο κ. Νικητιάδης  με το Ανώτατο Δικαστικό Συμβούλιο, ενημερώθηκε ότι στην χθεσινή συνεδρίαση του ούτε συζητήθηκε το θέμα όπως ισχυρίστηκε ο  υπουργός στη Βουλή ούτε ελήφθη απόφαση μετά μάλιστα από «συνεννοήσεις και με πειστικά επιχειρήματα του (υπουργού)», ούτε υπήρχε στην Ημερήσια Διάταξη τέτοιο θέμα. Επίσης κατά την ίδια ενημέρωση πληροφορήθηκε ότι ούτε εκκρεμεί ερώτημά του υπουργού για τοποθέτηση Ειρηνοδίκη στη Κω, στο Ανώτατο Δικαστικό Συμβούλιο. 

 

Κατόπιν αυτών ο κ. Νικητιάδης επανήλθε με νέα επίκαιρη ερώτηση προς τον κ. Χατζηγάκη με την οποία τον καλεί να απαντήσει συγκεκριμένως:
Σε ποιες ενέργειες έχει προβεί που να επιβεβαιώνουν έστω και την πρόθεσή του να τοποθετηθεί Ειρηνοδίκης στην Κω και να επιλυθούν τα πάγια και χρόνια προβλήματα της δικαιοσύνης στο Βόρειο Συγκρότημα της Δωδεκανήσου;
Θα αναλάβει την πολιτική ευθύνη για την παραπλάνηση του Σώματος και των πολιτών της Δωδεκανήσου που συνειδητώς ή από αμέλεια επιχείρησε;

 

 Όπως φαίνεται η υπόθεση θα έχει όχι μόνον συνέχεια αλλά και ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον.

ΘΕΜΑ: Παραπλάνηση του Ελληνικού Κοινοβουλίου για τα Δικαστήρια της Κω

Κατά την συνεδρίαση της Βουλής της Τετάρτης 14 Μαΐου 2008 στη συζήτηση του νομοσχεδίου «Ευρωπαϊκή Μονάδα Δικαστικής Συνεργασίας (EUROJUST), Κοινές Ομάδες Έρευνας και λοιπές διατάξεις»,  απαντώντας στο θέμα που έθεσα κατά την τοποθέτησή μου σχετικώς με τον διορισμό Ειρηνοδίκη στην Κω, δηλώσατε μεταξύ άλλων κατά λέξη: «… Με συνεννοήσεις και με πειστικά επιχειρήματα (δικά σας εννοείτε), το Ανώτατο Δικαστικό Συμβούλιο σήμερα, μάλιστα, έβγαλε την απόφαση για νέο Ειρηνοδικείο. Γρήγορα θα φέρω το διάταγμα, για να γίνει το Ειρηνοδικείο και να διοριστεί Ειρηνοδίκης. Επομένως, δεν υπάρχει ζήτημα …».

 

Σε σημερινή (15/5/2008) τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία μου με το Ανώτατο Δικαστικό Συμβούλιο, και ειδικότερα με την αρμόδια υπάλληλο κα Χαραλάμπους, ενημερώθηκα ότι στην χθεσινή συνεδρίαση του Ανωτάτου Δικαστικού Συμβουλίου ούτε συζητήθηκε το θέμα για το οποίο εσείς ισχυρισθήκατε στη Βουλή ούτε ελήφθη απόφαση μετά μάλιστα από «συνεννοήσεις και με πειστικά επιχειρήματα σας», ούτε υπήρχε στην Ημερήσια Διάταξη τέτοιο θέμα. Το πλέον δυσάρεστο είναι ότι κατά την ίδια ενημέρωση πληροφορήθηκα ότι ούτε εκκρεμεί ερώτημά σας για τοποθέτηση Ειρηνοδίκη στη Κω, στο Ανώτατο Δικαστικό Συμβούλιο. 

 

Η χθεσινή σας δήλωση συνεπώς στη Βουλή των Ελλήνων για το παραπάνω θέμα δεν ανταποκρίνεται στην πραγματικότητα, προκαλεί σωρεία ερωτημάτων  για την σκοπιμότητά της και  εκθέτει πέραν του κόμματος το οποίο υπηρετείτε και εσάς προσωπικώς.

Queen Sofia of Spain decorated translator and writer Filippos Drakontaedis and Spanish language professor Sylva Pantou with the medal of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, at an event in Athens on Wednesday evening.

 

The distinction was extended in recognition of work concerning promoting, spreading and studying the Spanish language and Spanish literature.

 

Drakontaedis said that Pantou had been his Spanish language teacher, adding that "he is fascinated by the idea of calling himself a Greek Spaniard."

 

Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis, who was present at the ceremony, told Queen Sofia that she "is not only the Queen of Spain but also a tireless ambassador of Greek-Spanish friendship, who certifies the excellent relations between the two countries."

 

Bakoyannis also congratulated Drakontaedis and Pantou, saying that with their work they are continuing the tradition of great translated literary work and thanked them for "the wealth that they have offered to Greece."

Parliament late Wednesday ratified a draft law, with both the ruling New Democracy and main opposition PASOK party voting in favor, for Greece's participation in Eurojust, the EU agency for judicial cooperation, composed of national prosecutors, magistrates and police officers of equivalent competence from each of the member states, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the national authorities when dealing with the investigation and prosecution of cross-border and organised crime.

 

The PASOK MPs voted in favour of the bill both 'in principle' and by-Article, agreeing that its ratification was an EU obligation on the part of Greece, although PASOK rapporteur George Patalotis said the bill could have contained more 'safety-valves' regarding the use of personal data that Greece will be sending to the other EU countries in the framework of the judicial cooperation.

 

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) parliamentary alliance charged that Eurojust was a mechanism for 'establishing files' on people, 'under the guise of information exchange', leaving a 'wide margin' to the member states but without containing specific provisions regarding the rights of the individual.

 

Parliament also ratified two draft laws ratifying memoranda of cooperation in the field of technology -- including telecoms and postal services -- with Egypt and Albania, in the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, with only the KKE and SYRIZA voting against, objecting to the funding of Greek enterprises undertaking high-risk investments in the framework of that cooperation, while transport and communications minister Costis Hadzidakis replied that Greece had only to gain from the cooperation.

 

"The goal is to help the weaker states and curb the wave of immigration, given that with the growth that will be crated, an attempt is being made to create jobs for the poor people in those countries," the minister explained.

The Financial Times and Action Global Communications Hellas are organizing the 1st World Shipping Congress at the Athens Concert Hall on June 4.

 

It is the first time that the Financial Times is organizing a congress in Greece and the selection of the topic "Charting the Course of World Shipping, Trade & Finance" is important for Greek shipping.

 

The one-day event will also include the topics: Developments in the World Economy and Sea Trade, Strategies for success in the Dry and Wet markets and Ship Financing: Risks and Profits.

Culture Minister Mihalis Liapis on Wednesday evening inaugurated two collections of the National Archaelogical Museum in Athens, delivering to the international public two important entities, the collection of Egyptian antiquities and the collection of Eleni and Antonis Stathatos.

 

The Egyptian collection dates back to the last twenty years of the 19th Century, while it is worthy to note the donation of the Egyptian government which in 1893 offered nine mummies of the era of the Pharaohs. However, the Egyptian collection is mainly by two donors, Ioannis Dimitriou (in 1880) and of Alexandros Rostovic (in 1904).

 

According to Liapis, "this exhibition broadens internationally the horizon of the permanent exhibitions and places it among the great museums of the world. Greeks who do not have the opportunity to travel, can have a full rapprochement, to learn quite a lot about Egyptian civilization."

Visiting Deputy Foreign Minister Yiannis Valynakis held a meeting in Buenos Aires on Tuesday with Argentinian Deputy Foreign Minister Victorio Jose Taccetti and Deputy Trade and International Economic Relations Minister Alfredo Vicente Chiaradia, during which an Economic Cooperation Agreement between the two countries was signed.

 

"We signed an economic cooperation agreement between Argentina and Greece. A new era is opening with this agreement in the development of our bilateral relations. I want to believe that this is the beginning, since more agreements will follow, which are necessary to strengthen our relations in other sectors as well," Valynakis said.

 

The minister, who also met with representatives of the Greek community in Argentina, referred to the important role played by the Greek communities in the country which, as he said, can make their own contribution to the effort to further strengthen traditionally friendly relations between Greece and Argentina.

 

The talks also focused on issues concerning bilateral political relations and prospects for further strengthening cooperation in the economic and trade sectors, as well as other matters of international concern.

 

As regards bilateral relations between the two countries in particular, a series of agreements in important sectors was examined, such as tourism, education, maritime transport, etc, that are expected to be signed in the near future in the framework of exchanges of visits by officials from the two countries.

A Greek-Turkish exercise on handling natural disasters was held at the installations of the Aircraft Construction Unit at Liosia, western Attica, on Wednesday.

 

The exercise was part of the framework for the implementation of confidence-building measures between the two countries. A similar exercise had taken place in Ankara in November 2006.

 

Participating in the exercise were the Greek Air Force's Mobile Disaster Handling Group (KOMAK) and a delegation of the Turkish Special Forces Command TSK Dogal Afetler Arama/Kurtarma Timleri (DAK).

 

The exercise's scenario concerned intervention by the two groups to tackle disasters in a military region, following a strong earthquake.

 

An exchange of gifts and a commemorative photograph followed the termination of the exercise.

 

In another development, a delegation of the Greek MAK unit will be visiting China on Thursday for an exchange of views on matters concerning natural disasters in light of the holding of the Olympic Games in Beijing. The visit had been scheduled and is part of the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis said in Paris on Wednesday that Greece expects a great deal from the French EU Presidency, speaking during her visit to the French capital, where she attended a dinner hosted by her French counterpart Bernard Kouchner in honor of his EU colleagues.

 

France takes over of the EU Presidency in July.

 

Bakoyannis stated that a meeting of 10 European Union foreign ministers was held Tuesday, at Kouchner's initiative, to discuss the preparation of the French EU Presidency.

 

"Greece expects a lot from the French EU Presidency, a presidency that will have many responsibilities and hopefully will undertake many initiatives," she stressed.

 

"Europe changes, political issues are still open and it is obvious that a closer cooperation is necessary particularly in the sectors of immigration, environment and European foreign policy," Bakoyannis said, while wishing success to France and adding that Greece will be contributing to its efforts as much as possible.
